NITO 1/2" Coupling Body – Efficient Connection with Internal Thread
This NITO 1/2" coupling body with a 1/2" internal thread is an essential component of NITO’s original coupling system, designed for easy and secure connection of hoses and pipes. With a focus on functionality, flexibility, and durability, the coupling body is particularly well-suited for both stationary and mobile installations in industry, agriculture, construction, and technical systems – yet it’s equally useful for simpler setups in home and garden environments.
Made from chrome-plated brass, the coupling body offers excellent resistance to mechanical wear and corrosion. The chrome finish also makes it easier to clean, even in demanding environments involving water, chemicals, or oil. Thanks to the internal 1/2" threaded connection, the coupling body integrates easily into existing piping systems or hose setups without the need for special tools or adapters.
Internal components such as hardened stainless-steel locking balls and a strong stainless-steel spring ensure a reliable and leak-tight connection, even at working pressures up to 25 bar. The precise locking mechanism allows for quick and simple connection and disconnection, saving time and reducing the risk of leakage. The seals are made of Nitrile (NBR), providing resistance to water and oil. For higher chemical resistance, Viton seals are also available upon request.
Advantages of the NITO 1/2" Coupling Body:
• Robust chrome-plated brass construction for long service life
• 1/2" internal thread for easy integration into existing systems
• Suitable for both high- and low-pressure applications – up to 25 bar
• Tool-free connection for fast and easy handling
As part of NITO’s comprehensive range of original couplings, this coupling body is fully compatible with other components in the system and can be combined with nipples and valve couplings from the same series. When you choose NITO, you get a solution developed and manufactured in Denmark – backed by more than 125 years of experience. That’s your guarantee of quality, safety, and operational reliability – every time.
