NITO 1/2" Coupler Body with Stop – Featuring 1/2" Male Thread for Maximum Control
This NITO 1/2" Coupler with an integrated stop function and 1/2" male thread is the perfect solution for secure and flexible hose connections where control of fluid flow is essential. Developed as part of NITO’s original coupling program, which for over 125 years has delivered robust, functional, and reliable products for industry, trades, agriculture, and private use.
The stop function in the coupling body automatically shuts off fluid flow when the coupling is disconnected. This allows you to change hoses or accessories without turning off the main water supply, saving time and minimizing the risk of spills or leaks. This feature is especially beneficial in environments with frequent connections and disconnections, such as workshops, cleaning systems, or irrigation setups.
The coupling body is made from chrome-plated brass, providing a durable, corrosion-resistant, and low-maintenance surface. The 1/2" male thread allows for quick and easy installation onto standard fittings and hoses. Internal components, including locking balls and spring, are made of stainless and hardened steel to ensure long-lasting durability and stable function, even under high pressure – up to 25 bar.
Seals are made of Nitrile (NBR), offering effective resistance to water, oil, and common cleaning agents. Viton seals are available upon request for higher temperature and chemical resistance.
